Honda's small Car
Honda Motor Co. has launched its first small car in India to tap rising demand in one of the world's fast-growing economies. The Jazz compact hatchback will go on sale from today (June 10), the Japanese automaker announced in New Delhi.
Toyota, Fiat, Ford and Volkswagen are also planning to market small cars in India, where Suzuki controls more than half the market with its compacts. Small cars accounted for 73% of all cars sold in the year ended March 31, according to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.
